Antioch Police Department Community Engagement

Sycamore Block Party

Chief Brooks attended the Sycamore Block Party this weekend and had a good time. The event is designed to bring residents together to build positive relationships and a strong sense of community. The event had a host of fun activities for participants, and the kids loved the opportunity to challenge Chief Brooks in the inflatable sumo vest! Events like this demonstrate the kind of commitment to community that makes the residents of Antioch so great!

August 21st – The Antioch Police Department was happy to be a part of the Rubicon Programs’ block party at their W. 4th St. location. The program is designed to help empower people in need to better themselves and address many of their needs to move out of poverty. Officer. Matis, Cpl. McElroy, Chief Brooks, and Mayor Wright were all on and hand and got to take a part out of their day with several members of the community, and they were still all having a great time into the early evening hours! The police department thanks Rubicon for the invite, they had fun meeting you all!
