Every year, the Antioch Police Department does a Holiday Event, focused on providing support to members of our community that need a little extra help during the Holiday Season. This year is no different. The help we provide is in the form of food for the holidays, coats and cold weather gear, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as small gifts for young children. All these items are provided through events that we sponsor throughout the year as well as generous donations from our personnel, local businesses, and our community.
Our Giveaway will occur December 21st from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the Antioch Police Department Community Room. For more information, please see our flyer or contact Ana Cortez at [email protected]. We will be accepting donations through December 16th!
Eligibility:
- Must be Antioch resident (Be prepared to show proof of residency: Drivers License, Water Bill, PG&E bill)
- One food voucher per family (must be present – No RSVP NECESSARY OR HOLDS)
- Food vouchers limited to the first 150 (must be present and show photo ID)
- Gifts for children 0-14 years old (only who are present – while supplies last)

How to Help
Join us for our 2nd annual #GivingTuesday on December 3, 2019. Giving Tuesday was established to ensure that we do not forget about those who are less fortunate. Giving Tuesday, the day after Cyber Monday is a global day of giving which kicks off the end of the calendar year charity season.
This year for Giving Tuesday we will be in front of Target at 5769 Lone Tree Way from 1 pm-7 pm. We will be collecting new or gently used coats, for disadvantaged youth in our community. We will also be collecting new toys for kids this holiday. We hope to see you out there!
